The UAPD is dedicated to the safety and security of the students, staff, faculty and campus. In response to the current threat level, we have developed a preparedness and response plan to potential threats that our country is facing.

To help ensure the safety of participants and the public there is an approval process for events that are envisioned to reach a certain size and scope. For outside events, space can be formally reserved via the Facilities Management and Building Executives can be contacted for space inside buildings.

The Homeland Security Advisory System is a means to disseminate information regarding the risk of terrorist acts to federal, state, and local authorities and to the American people.
