Community Outreach & Involvement
The University of Arkansas Police Department is committed to pro-active crime prevention. The department regularly presents programs covering the following crime prevention topics, Women’s Self Defense, General Self Defense, Campus Safety, Alcohol Awareness, Travel Safety, Drug Recognition (For Resident Assistants and Coordinators for Residence Education and other select groups).
Communications Division
UAPD Communications Center is staffed 24/7, 365 days a year. The communication center provides emergency and non-emergency dispatching for all of the University of Arkansas owned properties (both on the main campus and off campus locations). The communications center’s goal is to provide professional, efficient, and courteous service to our community and visitors.
