Telecommunications Center

The University of Arkansas Police Department Telecommunications Center is staffed 24/7, 365 days a year.  In collaboration with University of Arkansas partners and local fire and EMS services, the communications center provides both emergency and non-emergency dispatching for all of the University of Arkansas owned properties (both on the main campus and off campus locations). Our Telecommunications Specialist are trained for 911 emergency dispatching and call taking along with maintaing and operating the Arkansas Crime Information Center network information, computer aided dispatch, records management software, and a variety of critical publc safety online programs. The communications center’s goal is to provide professional, efficient, and courteous service to our community and visitors. Our Telecommunciations Specialist are subjected to quality assurance review to ensure that the standards are met.
